Tulsa World

The Hop Jam beer and music festival makes its debut Sunday afternoon in Tulsa’s Brady Arts District.

The festival was the brainchild of the Tulsa trio, Hanson, which is the headline act in the evening’s free concert.

Robert Randolph and The Family Band and Capitol Cars, winners of the Tulsa World’s Awesome Music Opening Band Contest, also are part of the show.

The festival is also an opportunity for local beer drinkers to taste the best of area breweries. Fourteen regional breweries will be taking part.

The proven drawing power of Hanson and the eternal popularity of beer suggests this festival will be a big success.

We’ll drink to that.
