It’s that time of year again, where we collect your favorite Hanson memories from the past year.  Although the guys didn’t do a US tour, they did tour Australia and hit up New Zealand for the firs time ever, as well as hold the 2nd Back to the Island, A Members Only Event and First Annual Hop Jam in Tulsa as well as 5 shows at EPCOT just to name a few!  If you didn’t see them live, maybe your favorite memory is listening to their CDs or watching a live stream?  We are sure everyone can think of something!

As the weather gets colder and colder and the traffic from holiday shoppers reaches its peak, we feel lucky to be looking forward to the beach.  Back To The Island 2015 is just around the corner in January and this week we are announcing more details about what to expect and asking for members help in deciding the final concert’s set list.  We will be starting Back To The Island 2015 with a Welcome To The Island show, with songs of our choice, then we will ring in the season with Christmas On The Island, our first ever live Christmas concert. We will each be taking the stage for solo concerts during the week and we’ll wrap things up with the Desert Island Set List, made up of songs voted on by Hanson.net members.  The voting will be happening all this week in the HANSON Asks section so don’t miss it.  Looking forward to seeing the final selections and seeing many of you in Mexico for Back To The Island 2015.Isaac, Taylor and Zac

For the final show of Back To The Island 2015 we need your help. We want you to pick your desert island set list. Pick your top 10 songs from HANSON albums and your top 10 songs from Members Only EPs and HANSON will use the top selections to create the set list for the final concert of Back To The Island 2015.

Hanson Back To The Island

Setlist voting for Hanson Back To the Island is LIVE at Hanson.net in the blog area. (Click Blog and then Hanson Asks)  This year there are 2 polls. One represents all of the tracks from the 6 studio albums and the other represents just under 50 Fanclub EP songs.  Those attending Back to the Island can choose 10 from each list.

Don’t forget, if you go to our Database you can see past show setlists, how many times songs have been performed live before and sign up to get a list of what songs you have heard live by submitting all the shows you have attended.  This is a great tool for figuring out which of the songs you have never heard or heard the least if that is the approach you want to take when choosing your setlist!

Hanson Song vs Hanson Song – Back in 2015!

Back in 2011 after the release of Shout It Out, we did Hanson Song vs Song where all of Hanson’s songs battled it out leading to one being crowned a winner.  In 2011 – that winner was Been There Before.

But since then Hanson has released another album with Anthem and several other member EP songs, HNet exclusive songs, ETC.

For Music Monday – we will once again be pitting songs against each other. You vote for which of the two you think is better and the one with the most votes will advance to the next round.

Who will win in 2015? You’ll have to vote and keep checking back to see!

Songs will be matched up together by the help of random.org for the first round and will move on in a March Madness style bracket for each round after that.
