Even with a wide realm of possibility, they mourned the death of the short-lived album. “On a local level, we were somewhat disappointed,” Hanson says. “We got signed to Mercury [Records] that summer because of that record. On a local level, we said we were going to push this record hard. And then we got signed so we had to leave and go make another record. So in a way it was an unrealized local product.”

Hop Jam bands announced for annual festival
The Hanson Brothers announced the headliners this week for this year’s festival. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Albert Hammond Jr., X Ambassadors, John Moreland, Chase Kerby + The Villains and more. Of course Hanson will perform on the main stage.
Concert goers will be able to buy craft beer VIP tickets which include earlier access, special Hop Talks with a panel of craft brewers, and a special indoor space with all day food and drinks. Premium Hop Jam VIP tickets include reserved seating in the festival main stage area with all day food and drinks.
The festival will feature more than 60 breweries from 20 states and 10 countries.

The 3rd annual Hop Jam Craft Beer and Music Festival announced its 2016 lineup Monday which included a familiar indie band as the headliner.
The Hanson brothers’ festival paired with the McNellie’s Group is set to be in the Brady Arts District in downtown Tulsa on May 22. More than 60 breweries will be on site for the event. The breweries represent more than 20 states and 10 countries.

One change for this year’s festival is the headliner, which is usually the trio of brothers. For this year, though, the band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros will be the headlining act.
