WEEKLY PIC

We had an incredible series of Walks this tour, thanks to YOU! Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of walks and helped us make an impact for those living in extreme poverty. Don’t forget to join a hosted walk this fall in your town, or host your own!

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

The lead up to Christmas and New Year’s is a time for housekeeping and planning.  Planning for Back To The Island, planning for Hanson Day, Fool’s Banquet, as well as The Hop Jam.  In December everything is just far enough away that the to do list feels manageable and the creative potential bountiful. Come May things will be getting crazy!  One of the many things we are beginning to think about is the 2016 Hanson.net members EP, how will we record it, when, and where, but there is still time to work all that out. In two weeks we will be hosting the final Stream of the year in celebration of Christmas. We like the idea that the Christmas stream might become a tradition for fans all over the world and that is why we are doing it for a second year in a row.  We hope you will join us for some Christmas music, videos from the RNR tour as well as sharing some of our plans for 2016.

Isaac, Taylor and Zac

THANK YOU

More than 2000 people joined us for barefoot mile walks on this year’s Roots & Rock ‘N’ Roll tour, WOW. That means individuals helped to raise money to drill clean water wells, provide shoes, medicine, and access to education and that is all because of the effort and conviction of individuals taking action. A special thanks to many folks hosting walks in places around the country and the world helping to continue the effort which began in 2007. We are so proud to have such a compassionate community and we cannot wait to see the impact that your barefoot miles have made in communities in Africa. Stay a part of the mission and jump in to host your own walk, or join one as the Take The Walk Campaign continues. The journey to awareness, to action and to HOPE for the future. Walk ON!
