Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson stopped by to chat with Parade about their new album, Anthem, meeting their wives while on the job, how they feel about their mega-hit “MMMBop” today, and more.
The brothers also talked about their evolution as a band since the debut of their first album in 1997.
“When we first started, we were three kids harmonizing, we didn’t play instruments,” Taylor Hanson says. “That was 21 years ago, so we’ve changed a lot. We’ve been able to share music with fans all over the world, we’ve toured for years, and we’ve made many albums, but i think the thing at the center of our band that has really kept us together is just a genuine love of making music.”
“For a band that started out as young as we did, we always had the desire for songwriting and making music that is ours,” Isaac Hanson added.
