Tulsa pop-rock trio Hanson performed their peppy new holiday song “Finally It’s Christmas” as Thursday’s musical guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” and watching guest host Melissa McCarthy dancing along in her ridiculous three wise men costume made my day.

As previously reported, the family band has been touring and making the TV rounds in support of its new yuletide album, “Finally It’s Christmas,” released this fall in time to mark the 20th anniversary of the Oklahoma group’s first yuletide release, “Snowed In.” They also will perform on Monday’s episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” airing at 11:37 p.m. on CBS.

The Hanson brothers – Zac, Taylor and Isaac – also treated Kimmel’s crowd to their spirit single “I Was Born,” which as previously reported is included on their compilation “Middle Of Everywhere – The Greatest Hits,” released earlier this year to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band.
