MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
December is in full swing in Tulsa. That means the weather is down to the teens and the weatherman is telling everyone to bundle up. We are making plans for the final stages of the new Christmas album, deciding who will mix and master it and looking at how we want to release it into the world in 2017. As we get further from the recording process and acquire more and more perspective, we can’t help but feel pleased about what has been accomplished. 20 years in the making and aged to perfection!
Last weekend many of you joined us for the 2016 Finally It’s Christmas Special. We shared music, videos from the Snowed In archive, and took questions from the community. We announced the official dates for HANSON Day 2017 (May 19th – 20th) and talked a little more about our plans to tour in 2017. The long and short of it is, yes, we are planning to release new music in 2017, and yes, we are planning to visit many places around the world while we celebrate our 25th anniversary! Starting this morning, we began looping both the public and private Christmas streams for your viewing pleasure. We have taken a little time to tweak the audio levels throughout the streams so if you had any trouble hearing last weekend, we got you covered.
