After completing such a great tour, it was the perfect cherry on top to see many fans who have joined us throughout the fall, enjoying some shows during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival at Walt Disney World. When we first began doing the concerts at Epcot we did not know what to expect, but it’s become somewhat of a tradition and five years in we not only look forward to the shows but we have been able to share in the food and wine festival by having Mmmhops available for many guests to try for the first time the last two years.
The Roots & Rock ‘N’ Roll Tour was such a refreshing burst of energy following two years of no US tours, and it reminded us how proud we are to share our music with the greatest fans on the planet, YOU.
This tour included many firsts: The first time to play two nights in every city, the first time to host dance parties in every city, the first performance of music from some of our greatest influences and the first time to share Mmmhops in many new cities. We also had some of the best walks ever with hundreds joining us for walks in NY, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta and more and some of our favorite times with our two supporting artists, Paul McDonald and CARRICK.
Hopefully those that joined us for shows, walked barefoot, danced into the night or shared an Mmmhops had a great time. We are inspired about what is ahead which will include more music and….well, you just never know what else!
Right around the corner is our Back To The Island destination concert in January, taking us… back to Jamaica. We can’t wait to see many of you there. In the meantime, look for some fun activity on Hanson.net as we step into the holidays and plot another great year in 2016!
