It’s been far too long since we were in Canada. We’re really looking forward to getting back. Who’s joining us in Toronto on October 10th & 11th?

After two weeks of recording and rehearsal, things are much quieter today.  All that is left to do is tie up a few loose ends and then next week we will begin the process of mixing, and soon after, mastering.  Ear fatigue is an ever present danger with a project that is moving this fast.  If you have ever spent a long day in the studio, you already know how as the day goes on, the high frequencies in your ear can sound dull, and everyone seems to be turning the volume up louder and louder with each passing hour.  You learn quickly not to make any big musical decisions after 11PM and that there is a limit to your god given gifts no matter how much Red Bull you have in the studio fridge.  Thankfully we have a few days of ear rest before the mixing begins.

The anticipation is growing as The Roots & Rock ‘N’ Roll Tour gets closer. We still have a few weeks before we will begin rehearsal, but the last few weeks of recording have been an unexpected tease for what is to come. Dedicating a whole show to playing other people’s music is both daunting and inspiring.  No matter what the end result will be, we are a better band for it and a lot more fun to hang out with around the campfire.

After two years without a North American tour, HANSON is returning with a special 10-city tour across the US and Canada, featuring 2 concerts in each of the 10 major markets. The tour will also mark the launch of the band’s craft beer, Mmmhops Pale Ale, in new markets across the country.

“This tour is all about celebrating our musical journey, starting with a night of cover songs that have inspired us, followed by a night of rare tunes and fan favorites. Each night will be a totally unique experience,” said Isaac Hanson.
