We are less than a month away from HANSON Day or as we like to say, this is the calm before the storm.
This week things are starting to transition from planning to prepping. Street signs and new merch designs are starting to arrive in shipments several times a day. At times it feels kind of like Christmas, what’s in this box? Ooh! What’s in this box? Aah! But just like Christmas, at times it can be hard to make it through the office door without stepping on something valuable.
Everybody likes a good party, and between HANSON Day, The Hop Jam and Back To The Island, we have quite a wide spectrum of good things. HANSON Day is about as immersive as we know how to get, with galleries and movies and lectures and new music. The Hop Jam is our version of a 3CG block party with good food and beer and free concerts all day. And Back To The Island is the low-key getaway to somewhere in paradise that we all need to recharge before the next year’s HANSON Day and Hop Jam. It is a great big ecosystem of party.
If you are a Hanson.net member don’t forget to visit the HANSON Asks section of Hanson.net this week and cast your vote for the 2015 MOEY Awards. After watching through all the entries, we have picked what we think are the top five in every category, but it is up to the H.net members to decide the winners. After voting closes on May 1st, the winners will be announced during the State Of The Band talk at HANSON Day along with our plans for 2015.
Hope to see all of you at one or all of these parties.
Isaac, Taylor and Zac
