Excited to announce The Hop Jam 2015! We hope you’ll be joining us on May 17th.

This last week has been a little crazy with the announcement of The Hop Jam, but good crazy.  We spent all week spreading the news about the cool beers that will be available and all the great music that will be coming to Tulsa.  If the HANSON Day events on Friday and Saturday were not enough of a party already, adding The Hop Jam on Sunday really takes things over the top.  This week we are officially finished with the 2015 Members EP.  We have finished all the tracking, mixing, and mastering, all that is left is to send it for manufacturing next week.  We streamed much of the writing and recording of this years EP to Hanson.net members so many of you saw that we wrote more than the five songs that will make up the EP. A lot of people have been asking, “what songs will make the final cut?” in no particular order:

• Grace Unknown
• Give Me Your Best Shot
• Dance Like You Don’t Care
• What Are We Fighting For
• Don’t Hide Your Tears

It feels good to be finished with the EP, but the real fun is when we get to share the final product in May at HANSON Day.

Be part of the 4th Annual I Heart 2 Bowl Bowling Tournament!

Held in downtown Tulsa at a beautiful eight-lane bowling ally, The Dust Bowl, the I Heart 2 Bowl Tournament is a must-attend for anyone looking for a little friendly competition during their HANSON Day weekend. Members can enter the tournament as a single player or with friends, but every player has to buy tickets individually, and we will match entrants up into teams of six. Space is limited and only a few places remain.

All players receive a team shirt, and the team with the highest combined score will be awarded commemorative trophies. Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the I Heart 2 Bowl Bowling Ball.

April 24th is the last day to sign up for bowling (or while supplies last)!

This year as part of HANSON Day 2015, HANSON will be starting a new tradition called The MOEYs. A MOEY award is given to an extraordinary HANSON fan.  Awards are given for a variety of achievements, from being an outstanding Fan Club member to most entertaining performances in a lip sync video.  Winners are selected either by members of HANSON and the 3CG team or by the Hanson.net community depending on the category.

The HANSON Day Lectures are one of the coolest ticketed events held during the HANSON Day weekend. Each of the three lectures is hosted by a different member of HANSON.  The HANSON Day lectures are a one of a kind experience not to be missed.

Deadline for submitting Song Stories for Taylor’s lecture is April 12, 2015.

The deadline to RSVP for HANSON DAY is May 1st. If you are a HANSON fan, you don’t want to miss HANSON Day.  Each year in May, HANSON hosts fans from all around the world in Tulsa, OK for a weekend long celebration of music, art and community.  Hear brand new songs performed for the first time, go inside the multi-tracks of classic HANSON albums and experience one of a kind pieces of art created exclusively for HANSON Day.

The first step to attending Hanson Day is to RSVP. To RSVP, go to the Calendar section of Hanson.net. Look for the Tulsa, OK – HANSON DAY WEEKEND event. You’ll see an RSVP button – click it. That’s it. You’ve RSVPed. Once you RSVP, you can proceed to the store to purchase tickets for any of the special events you would like to attend.
