Message From The Band

What a week we have been having, finally back on the road and loving it! This week we started the ANTHEW World Tour back up with shows in Minnesota and Iowa. We have not toured in the US since 2011, so being back out traveling across the US feels like seeing old friends. We did our first Walk on this tour in Des Moines, the weather was hot, 90+ and everyone walking with us was feeling the burn, but it meant a lot to see the walk go on come rain or shine. Our mission for the walks has always been about connecting action and solutions, trying to help people start, and encouraging the people around us that a little can go a long way, especially when talking about poverty and AIDS. To everyone who walked, thank you!

For the past few weeks I have been talking about a DVD we are going to put out this fall, so I think it is about time I spilled the beans. The DVD is called ANTHEM Live In New York. We recorded it earlier this year when we performed in NYC for the 21st Anniversary Show. For the past few weeks we have been putting the final touches on the audio mix and the video edit and are really happy with the end result. With the help of a great video team and Tom Lord Alge at the mixing console I think everyone who hears it is going to love it too. It is going to come out as a DVD + Double live album, 27 songs just won’t fit on one CD. Next week we will have more to say about when you can get a hold of the new DVD but until then see you on the road and on the net.

Take The Walk on the ANTHEM World Tour

Join us before each concert on the US and Canadian leg of the ANTHEM WORLD TOUR for a one mile barefoot walk to support the TAKE THE WALK Campaign to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. for each person who joins the walk, a dollar will be donated on your behalf to support the effort. Each walker can choose to donate greater funds to support clean water, new shoes, education, or life saving medicine. Plan on joining us, and spread the word so that we can make an impact through each event throughout the tour.

The ANTHEM World Tour’s North American leg has begun, and the first week kicked off with great crowds and epic shows. Here’s a pic of Taylor and Isaac rocking out during one of the first shows in St Paul. Who was at this show? Tell us about your favorite moments.
