Taylor Hanson and his brothers joined the fun at the premiere of “The Hangover Part III” in Los Angeles on May 20, 2013, but their thoughts were with the people in their home state of Oklahoma, where a massive tornado killed at least 24 people, including seven children.

The Hanson pop trio, whose 1997 song “MMMBop” is featured in the comedy film, are from the city of Tulsa, located more than 110 miles from Moore, which was devastated by the deadly twister.

“Like people across the country, our hearts go out to everybody that’s been struggling and been hit by the tornado,” Taylor told the Associated Press at the premiere, standing alongside brothers Isaac and Zac.

“We have family, our kids, they’re at home in Oklahoma while the storm is happening so, I mean, I think we’re just in shock and really just have that feeling that a lot of people do, which is, ‘What can I do? How can I help?’ and just grateful that so many people have already jumped in to lend a hand to those that were struggling,” he added.

All three brothers are married with children. Isaac and Zac each have two, while Taylor and his wife welcomed their fifth child, a baby girl, last October.
