For “Jet Lag” : The chorus, no problem. Those verses though…that’s a whole other story!

I have no idea what he is saying after “took a hot shower” either. Can’t even understand one word. I’ve never had this much trouble understanding a Zac lead before, but I think it’s all the production that gets in the way of the words rather than his singing.

I DEFINITELY think it’s the production. I totally agree, Zac is usually VERY clear.

Here’s what I’ve got so far for Jet Lag (underlines are where I’m missing words/lines or I’m not confident of the words that are underlined):

    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    Makes it right…

    Turn on the tube
    Turn on the TV
It’s 6 am and I need to __ my stuff
    Why won’t you see?
    I need a __
    Need a __
    Need a __

Somebody took me in and put me to sleep
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right

    It’s 7am and now I’m feeling dirty
    I take a hot shower

    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night
    But nothing makes it right
    I got jet lag
Nothing’s gonna make it go away
    I’ve been trying all night

    Make it right

Good job on the chorus! I could not for the life of me figure out the last word in the chorus! For the verses, here are some of the missing words:
      first verse:
It’s 6AM and I need to put myself out
      I need a pill
      I need a drug
I need a drink ( or it could be dream, not sure)

I believe the chorus lead in is: somebody tuck me in and put me to sleep.

I do believe you’re right about the chorus lead in. That would make much more sense. 🙂

And I think it’s dream, not drink at the end of the first verse.

        Thanks!

And heres Hear Those Jingle Bells. Only missing a couple words here…

    Nothing on Santa’s sleigh
Will make my list on Christmas Day
    There ain’t a bow or ________
    A box _______
    Could hit the mark
    Finally figured it out
Guess I’m not what Christmas is about

You really wanna give me something?
The only thing I want at Christmas time
Is to hear those sweet jingle bells
    Perfectly in tune
To eat pumpkin pie by the fire
As we listen to the tunes
Of the greatest generation to ever croon

Can you hear those (jingle bells, jingle bells)
Hear those jingle bells (jingle bells, jingle bells)
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells
    Jingle bells
    Jingle all the

    Every day we’re working late
Just trying to pay for Christmas day
    But everybody’s playing a part
How much is enough to be from the heart
    Finally figured it out
Guess I’m not what Christmas is about

You really wanna give me something
The only thing I want at Christmas time
Is to hear those sweet jingle bells
    Perfectly in tune
To eat pumpkin pie by the fire
As we listen to the tunes
Of the greatest generation to ever croon

    (Jingle bells, jingle bells
    Jingle all the way)

Can you hear those (jingle bells, jingle bells)
Hear those jingle bells (jingle bells, jingle bells)
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells
    Jingle bells, jingle bells
    Jingle all the way, yeah
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells

You and me, an open sleigh
Who knows what’s it’s gonna be
Can you hear those jingle bells
Can you hear those jingle bells

I think you’ve got this on right. In the first verse, I believe the missing words are “bow or bag box or tag” I might have those backwards though.
