From The Band

We have been working in the studio this week on the new album once again. It has been a great week filled with inspiring musicians and and lots of fun making music. We have recorded two new songs as well as added horns to parts of record. We had the Jerry Hey arrange the horns for us, and he did a great job. Jerry has worked on countless records and is responsible for the horn part on the song “Thriller,” among other things. (Zac starts to drool.) We were lucky enough to have Jerry work on Underneath, and it was wonderful having him back.

Today we are finishing our final session with Bob Babbitt, another awesome player! When we decided to go back into the studio, one of the things we wanted to do was really take a look at the rhythm section, and make sure it had that great feel that was on the records we grew up listening to. So, we thought why not get someone who played on those records, hence Bob. Isaac Taylor and Zac
