Channeling the spirit of Willy Wonka, we have placed 5 golden tickets in 5 separate Hanson Valentine’s Day Chocolate packages. Anyone who has ordered the chocolates has a chance to receive a golden ticket! Recipients of this ticket will win a ticket to one 5 of 5 show of their choice in NYC the week of April 26, 2010!
5 of 5 Ticket Package Pick Up Detail
All members that purchased the 5 of 5 ticket package through Hanson.net, your tickets will be available at the WILL CALL window beginning on April 26th. Tickets will be left under the name that was entered on the form, not the name on the credit card. Should you no longer be able to attend and wish to change the name on your package, you can do so here. Remember that all tickets should only be sold at the price you paid for them, and the packages can only be sold to another fanclub member.

We have been able to reduce our special Hanson.net fanclub rate for the 5 of 5 shows at the Thirty Thirty Hotel in New York City! The new rates are as follows:
Standard Single Room – one queen bed at $149.00
Standard Double Room – two twin beds at $169.00
Deluxe Double Room – two full-size beds (triple/quad) at $199.00

From The Band
We have been working in the studio this week on the new album once again. It has been a great week filled with inspiring musicians and and lots of fun making music. We have recorded two new songs as well as added horns to parts of record. We had the Jerry Hey arrange the horns for us, and he did a great job. Jerry has worked on countless records and is responsible for the horn part on the song “Thriller,” among other things. (Zac starts to drool.) We were lucky enough to have Jerry work on Underneath, and it was wonderful having him back.
Today we are finishing our final session with Bob Babbitt, another awesome player! When we decided to go back into the studio, one of the things we wanted to do was really take a look at the rhythm section, and make sure it had that great feel that was on the records we grew up listening to.
