Taylor looked effortlessly cool in oversized blue shades and a T-shirt, with Penny smiling alongside him during a recent family holiday.
Taylor shares seven children with his wife Natalie – sons Ezra, 19, River, 15, Viggo, 13, and Indiana, 3, and daughters Penelope, Wilhelmina, 9, and Maybellene, 18 months.
And fans were stunned to learn his eldest has turned 20 this week, with one penning: ‘Who else is feeling old?’; ’20?! Howww’;

US band Hanson – made up of three brothers Isaac, 44, Taylor and Zac, 39 – are best known for their 1997 hit song MMMBop from their debut album Middle of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations
‘Oh my goodness… I just… I feel VERY old now lol. Wasn’t she just 3 yesterday? HAPPY 20th Birthday’;
‘Oh my penny love that song and HBD lovely penny’
Speaking to People magazine earlier this year, Taylor shared his kid’s relationship with music.
‘You definitely see the way they reflect on what it is to have a musical family,’ he said.
‘You also see that people are going to be who they are. I have some that are extremely like, ‘I want to be on stage. I want to be a drummer. I want to play music.’
‘One of my boys said at one point, ‘You know, Dad, I think I want to control the musicians, not be one.’ I was like, ‘Okay, that’s scary.’ Future manager,’ the musician further said.
‘Even though we’re parents, and we’ve seen our kids get older, we’re doing many of the things that we were doing back when we were teenagers, and they’ve seen that,’ he continued.
‘Especially with my older kids, they’ve really seen what it means to go on tour. They know that it’s going to be a lot of fun, for sure, but it’s a lot of work. Hopefully they get and appreciate that side of it,’ Taylor added.

US band Hanson – made up of three brothers Isaac, 44, Taylor and Zac, 39 – are best known for their 1997 hit song MMMBop from their debut album Middle of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations.
When Hanson rose to fame as teenagers, they were known for their long hair, baggy clothes and energetic performances.
Today, the long blonde locks are a thing of the past for some members of the bands and they have grown into their looks.
The brothers previously reflected on their stardom in a 2022 interview with People and shared that they felt they were ‘lucky that we’ve always been a little bit of an anomaly’ when it comes to how they came together to form a family band and make music together.
‘To be brothers who don’t fight that much and who share a dream, that’s unique,’ Zac shared.
‘We’ve been a band for a long time, and a lot of people go, “Wow, you’re normal,” because the industry has a way of leaving its marks on people. But we just always had a really strong sense of place.’

Guide to Real ID Compliance for US Hanson Fans Traveling to Hanson Day in Tulsa 2025
Are you a dedicated Hanson fan planning to travel to Tulsa for Hanson Day in 2025? If you’re flying to get there, it’s crucial to ensure you have the right identification to board your flight. Starting May 7, 2025, all US travelers aged 18 and older must present a Real ID-compliant form of identification for domestic flights. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your trip:
What Is a Real ID?
The Real ID Act establishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards. These IDs have a star in the upper right-hand corner, indicating they meet federal requirements for airport security checks and access to certain federal facilities.
How Do I Know If I Have a Real ID?
Look at your current driver’s license or state-issued ID:
- Compliant IDs: Feature a gold or black star in the top corner.
- Non-Compliant IDs: Say “Not for Federal Identification” or lack a star.
If your ID is non-compliant, you’ll need to update it before your flight.
How to Get a Real ID
- Check Your State’s DMV Website: Requirements vary by state, but you generally need to visit a DMV office in person.
- Gather Necessary Documents:
- Proof of identity (e.g., a certified birth certificate or valid passport).
- Proof of Social Security number (e.g., Social Security card or tax document).
- Proof of residency (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, or rental agreement).
- Make an Appointment: Some states allow you to book online to save time.
- Bring All Documents to Your DMV: Submit your paperwork, have your photo taken, and pay any applicable fees.
- Receive Your Real ID: Some states issue it immediately; others mail it to you.
Alternative Forms of Identification
If you don’t have a Real ID, you can still fly domestically with one of the following:
- Valid US passport or passport card
- DHS Trusted Traveler card (e.g., Global Entry)
- Military ID
Plan Ahead
Avoid last-minute stress by checking your ID status well before your trip. DMVs can get busy as the deadline approaches, so aim to apply at least two months before Hanson Day. This gives you ample time to handle any issues or delays.
What to Expect at the Airport
- TSA will require you to show your Real ID or alternative identification at the security checkpoint.
- Without compliant ID, you will not be allowed to pass through security, even if you have a valid ticket.
With these tips, you’ll be ready to enjoy a memorable trip to Tulsa for Hanson Day 2025. Start preparing now so you can focus on what really matters: celebrating your favorite band with fellow fans!

Hanson’s “MMMBop” Live 26 Years Later is Still A Dead Set Banger So Get Ready To Sing Along To Every Line With The Boys At Their Hometown Show
Any ’90s kids in the house? Get ready for a nostalgia trip hearing Hanson rock their 1997 smash hit “MMMBop” 26 years later! The Hanson brothers are now in the 30s and 40s (where did all those years go?), and they still cut a gorgeous vocal trio at their performance at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The brothers’ hometown performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, featured some sensational lead vocals from Taylor Hanson, while Isaac and Zac provided some on-point harmonies.
It’s not easy to deliver such a complex vocal arrangement live, but the brothers were all over it, while also holding it down on keyboard, guitar and drums. “MMMBop” was the 12th biggest song of 1997 thanks to all those sugary hooks. Any The Music Man readers who were around back in the ’90s probably sang along to the song a million times – I know I did – and it’s still just as fun to sing those rhymes now.
Fan channel Hansonized uploaded the Tulsa performance to YouTube on December 26, 2023, and it has since gained one million views. Fans came together to celebrate the classic pop tune, adding comments such as “We sang it at the top of our lungs as preteeens and teens. But the lyrics hit different now. An expression about fine wine comes to mind.” and “I was 27 when this song came out and I just loved it. It’s the kind of song that would lift your spirit no matter what mood you were in, a great feel-good song.”
If you think watching 2023 performance was nostalgic, get ready for a real big throwback to Hanson’s 1997 Italian television performance of “MMMBop” for Festivalbar. Fourteen-year-old Taylor’s voice is just as heavenly – the song was bound to be a hit with that kind of talent behind the mic. The performance again highlights the group’s talent as a vocal group, and also musicians. Even young Zac at just 12 years old crushes it behind the drum kit.
Hanson released “MMMBop” on April 15, 1997, as the lead single from their debut studio album Middle of Nowhere. The song was written by Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson, while the Dust Brothers and Stephen Lironi handled production. Zac spoke to Songfacts in 2004 about the inspiration behind the song, saying, “If anything, ‘MMMBop’ was inspired by The Beach Boys and vocal groups of that era – using your voice as almost a doo-wop kind of thing. It was something we almost stumbled upon.”
