This week Taylor joined fellow music creators and members of the Recording Academy for the SXSW music conference. Shout out to all the creators and fans keeping the heartbeat of music alive.
MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
This week we can feel spring in the air and we are celebrating that warm up in a few ways. In Tulsa we are looking forward to seeing many of you for the upcoming HANSON Day event in Tulsa this May, prepping events and activities. As the world converges in Austin for SXSW Music conference, Taylor kicks off his birthday week putting in his steps and supporting new music and sparking inspiration with fellow music makers.
“Austin was a landmark place for the band, making the connection with our first manager and learning that you don’t have to be “official” to be able to attend, especially if you have something you need to share with the world. An iconic and essential part of the Austin March experience is the now essential Luck Reunion show, placed on Willie Nelson’s desert western town, ranch. Standing under the stars watching Willie Nelson at 93 years old, singing with his sons as three generations sang along brought home what it is we get to do. What a gift to share music and share the journey with you all” – Taylor.
A big shout out to all the creators out there and all the people donning their springtime looks and getting ready to take the world to a higher place. This last week we also shared a couple of concerts that will be bringing us around the US and also to Mexico. Stay tuned for some more shows coming later this spring and summer. There’s nothing like a summer festival to get us out of our shell. We hope to see you there!
