MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
This week, we wax poetic a bit on the nature of music and inspiration. As music makers we have had the amazing privilege of making things we love, and looking for inspiration to put into the music we share. This inspiration can come from anywhere, the key is to keep an open ear, because an unexpected sound or thought could spark a whole new perspective and a song for the ages.
This week’s image is a stack of guitars and bass’s, it makes us think of the many different tools of the musical trade that come to bear when building new songs. Just like inspiration, you never know what creative instrument or space could be the vessel of the next creation, and that is very true on the songs featured on the underneath album which we are highlighting with this year’s Underneath Experience live album for members.
For all the LP lovers, we’re excited the Middle Of Everywhere collection is back in stock in vinyl, also another great example of the many elements that come together to create a body of work and the way in which formats and different mechanisms can change our experience. With our favorite albums (even greatest hits collections) the whole is often greater than the sum of the parts.
