MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

We are excited to finally share all the details about Back To The Island 2018.  We are going back to Jamaica in January 2018, but this time we are going to a brand new resort.  The Meliá Braco Village takes things to a new level with beautiful beaches and lots of new activities for islanders to enjoy during the week. We feel like it is the perfect setting for a BTTI that is better than ever before.  Set list voting and island games were an overwhelming hit this year, so when we started planning for BTTI 2018, we felt like bringing them back was a must-do.  Our goal is to put together something amazing for everyone in the H.net community.  A beautiful place, cool people, fun activities, exciting special guests and a whole lot of HANSON Music.  Make your plans now because we’re going Back To The Island in 2018!

BACK TO THE ISLAND 2018

January 6 – 10, 2018 – Meliá Braco Village – Trelawny, Jamaica

Fan Club Exclusive: The Back To The Island destination concert event is a rare musical escape that takes music fans to a world-class resort destination on the Caribbean shore, to enjoy connecting with other music fans in a beautiful place, while sharing once in a lifetime musical experiences with HANSON as your host.

Following overwhelming reviews that 2017 was “the best BTTI yet,” we have decided to chart a course back to Jamaica, but this time we are heading to a brand new resort, the Meliá Braco Village, the recipient of the 2016 World’s leading New Island Resort. We will be bringing back all of the activities that members loved, while continuing to add more fun for return Islanders.

Guests spend 5 days (4 nights) in a tropical paradise, enjoying the sun and ocean during the day and watching HANSON and very special guests performing each night right on the beach, all at the beautiful All-Inclusive Meliá Braco Village, in Trelawny, Jamaica!

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

For the past few weeks we have been hinting that the end of February is going to be a busy time for announcements. We have HANSON Day rapidly approaching, a world tour on the horizon, a Christmas album nearly finished, a new members EP set for release in May and a plan for world domination that just needs final budget approval. Today we will make one date official.  Next Friday, February 17th we will announce the details for Back To The Island 2018. We have made some big changes, but we are also bringing back most of the activities that members loved this year. Pre-Sale dates, Member’s On-Sale Dates, Event Dates, Concerts and more come Friday. In just a little over a week we will all be working on our beach bodies and making our plans for BTTI 2018. If you haven’t seen it, make sure to check out the recap from this year’s event here.

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

This week has been spent at a studio out in LA mixing.  It may be February, but it’s still Christmas for us as we spend each day trying to get the balance between vocals and instruments just right. It is a very painstaking process, but a great mix can can be the difference between a mess and a masterpiece.

We spent the better part of our lunch break talking about Back To The Island 2018.  We were excited by how much positive feedback we got about this year’s event, but we feel confident we can make 2018 event better.  We want to build on what fans loved like the concerts and games and make the whole experience more luxurious. We hope to share all the details before the end of February.

We may be spending our days listening to Christmas music and thinking about playing Christmas concerts, but don’t be fooled, a full HANSON world tour is very much in the forefront of our planning.  We have the first few legs of the tour set, but our desire to reach as many places as possible means there is still a little work to be done.  We are still a few weeks away from announcing tour details, but as you all know, time has a way of flying by. More soon.
