Bubblegum pop had been a largely faceless genre that had faded in the mid-1970s, but Hanson changed all that 25 years ago with “MMMBop.” The brothers never stopped making music. In recent years, they appeared on “Masked Singer” in 2021, put out an EP in 2022, and this year they worked on a new version of “MMMBop” called “MMMBop 2.0” with the British band Busted, who have been around as long as Hanson.
