HANSON: Together Again!

This week we shared more about coming plans to take HANSON Day online. Lots of content planned and more to come!

At the beginning of this week, we started sharing more about our 2020 HANSON Day plans and how we will be sharing new content that everyone can enjoy no matter where you live. May 6th 1998 was the day originally marked by our Oklahoma governor as HANSON Day, so starting May 6th this year we will begin sharing a weekly podcast with deep dives, live performance and interviews, and we’re calling it HANSON Time.

Hanson.net members can join the conversation by RSVPing in the calendar section for a chance to be on the podcast, but all members can help pick the weekly themes by visiting the H.net blog clicking on HANSON Asks and answering the poll for May.

May will also mark the first look at the 2020 Members EP, Continental Breakfast In Bed. This will be the longest Members EP to date, growing from what would traditionally be 5 songs to 7, one for every continent. With the next full album Against The World delayed and the corresponding tour pushed back, we want you all to know we are thinking about you no matter what part of the world you live in, and were planning for the day we can invite you to join us for a concert. Until then we are going to make sure you have something to listen to and help make each day a little brighter.

Speaking of joining us, as well as working the next world tour, a newly designed Hanson.net, writing for the new EP, and planning to record with a choir when this social distancing stuff is over, things are looking brighter each day for BTTI.  We don’t have details to share yet, but we are hoping to have it all squared away before May. So if you’re thinking about coming, start shopping for sandals!

We are going to keep the videos coming each week in April as we celebrate 20 years of Hanson.net, diving into the catalog of members music. Stay safe, don’t lose yourself in your fear, buy TP sparingly, wash your hands, take walks, learn to garden, take up knitting, play lots of videos games, and listen to your music loudly!

HANSON DAY 2020 ONLINE!

Member Exclusive: HANSON Day is more than a day, it is a chance to celebrate community and music and we will be celebrating throughout the month of May.

Starting on May 6th, a new weekly podcast will feature live music, deep dives and interviews with YOU our members. We are inviting Members to RSVP in the Calendar section to throw their name in the hat to join the conversation with us every week.

Inspired by the theme of our upcoming album, Against The World, we are going to count the continents with the 2020 Members EP and we’re calling it “Continental Breakfast In Bed”. The 2020 Members EP will be our longest Fan Club EP ever, seven songs, one to go with each continent  and Members can look forward to watching the making of videos ( which will mostly be us eating breakfast, in bed) starting May 15th.

Throughout April we will be sharing more updates on what we have in store, as well as more special video performances celebrating 20 years of Hanson.net. We hope you will celebrate with us.
