Heroes come in many shapes and sizes. Roy was a personal friend and a man to look up to, not only because of his huge impact on the world through music and entertainment, but because of his great character and giving spirit throughout his life. He was a warm friend with a strong handshake, a smile that made it impossible to frown, a talent that gave joy to millions and a Tulsa native for more than fifty years. R.I.P. Roy Clark.


MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

It is hard to believe we are already halfway through November, but on the bright side that means The String Theory album is out and it’s ok to dust off your copies of Snowed In and Finally It’s Christmas.  This last week was an amazing way to conclude the US leg of the String Theory Tour (at least for 2018) with Boston, Philadelphia and New York.

This whole tour has been inspiring. Every stop on the tour we have shared the stage with a new symphony and each one has brought something special to the arrangements. This project, like so many before it, has had a lasting effect on us and the way we create. What exactly comes next is not yet clear, but it is sure to be full of more songs and stories. We look forward to sharing this new album and tour with more of you come 2019.

Fan Club Exclusive: At each stop on the String Theory tour, we are giving away a special one-of-a-kind poster to one lucky Hanson.net member.  The poster design is drawn from a Zac Hanson painting created especially for this project, capturing the boy chronicled in the lyrics of Reaching For The Sky.  Every posted features the show’s date, venue and tour, in a four color screen print themed in the purples and blues of the String Theory art and will be signed by Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson.
