It is amazing how far away something can be and once you are there how fast it seems to have arrived. We have spent the last four months talking about the upcoming Roots & Rock ‘N’ Roll tour and in the last few weeks we have hit the grindstone doing our best to prepare two amazing sets of music, and now it is finally here. Next week will begin with a festival in Philly and then the RNR Tour will kick off in Chicago. The final prep is happening now as guitars and drums go into road cases and supplies of drum sticks and batteries get packed away. Going on tour is a little like going on safari, minus the bug spray, tents, guns, and wild animals. Tour is like going on a ski trip, everyone needs at least two suitcases to hold all their stuff and no one can figure out how to pack all of their bulky equipment. Many fans around the world will not be able to attend a show on the RNR Tour, but even if you can’t you can still tune in on October 8
th for a full concert stream by Yahoo Live. It is going to be a great way to start things off! This tour will be full. Two concerts in every city, After Party, Walks for the Take The Walk Campaign… if you can’t tell we are smiling.
