Remember Hanson? Of course you remember Hanson: that trio of three blond, long-haired brothers from Oklahoma who introduced “MMMbop” into the American vocabulary. It’s hard to say whether or not Hanson was ever a band of teen heartthrobs, per se, since they all looked like pint-sized Laura Derns. But they did blossom in the age of Backstreet Boys, ‘N Sync, and 98 Degrees, so we might as well lump them in with Nick Lachey, Justin Timberlake, and the boys of the late 90′s.
The teen heartthrobs of today, however, are more likely found on TV, specifically on a little show called Glee. Still going strong, Ryan Murphy’s high school musical has delivered us Mark Salling and Dean Geyer, but the fans really went wild for breakout star Darren Criss. He’s cute, he’s charming, and he can sing and dance. And now you can add “BFF’s with Hanson” to his resume, as evidenced by this backstage video tweeted out by Criss himself.
