Obviously our inner tween tingled with yesterday’s premiere of Hanson’s “Get The Girl Back,” so we’re having a flashback Friday Face-Off this week. Vote to tell us if you prefer the “MMMbop” Tiger Beat Titans of yesteryear or the alt-rock, MmmHops hotties of today. We’ll be over here scribbling Mrs. Taylor Hanson on our Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper with glitter gel pens like it’s 1997.

Hanson (1997) “MMMBop” – You need a hug if you don’t find yourself smiling through this video of the Hanson boys laughing, rollerblading and performing their hearts out in a living room. Let’s not forget the slick use of green screen (Hanson on the moon!). And you can’t deny these bros did beach frolicking better than that other “Beautiful” boy band. OneDirection’s got nothing on a baby Zac nailing the drums with braids flying.

Hanson (2013) “Get The Girl Back” – The guys replaced in-line skates with A-List stars in the video for their latest single. Twilight Saga’s Nikki Reed, “2 Broke Girls” star Kat Dennings, along with Drake Bell and Drew Seeley round out the GTGB cast. But even though Hanson upgraded to suits and ditched the den in favor of a well-lit stage (in a bar!), they still know to have fun – as seen in the awkward in the men’s restroom scene. How many guys out there have found themselves lip-syncing to Hanson in a urinal? Fess up.
