Hope It Comes Soon Lyrics

By | November 4, 2008

Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well, I think it’s about time
I stopped waiting for you, for you
For you
Well I hope it comes soon

You know that there’s nowhere else to pass the buck this time
We run every time it’s getting rough
‘Cause there is nowhere to hide
It’s hard just making it by
But I’m tired of toeing the line

Feels like a change is going to come
Feels like a change is going to come

Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well I think it’s about time
I stopped waiting for you
Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well, I think it’s about time
Feels like change is coming
Well I hope it comes soon
Stopped waiting for you

Step back and look at where we’ve ended up this time
Are you satisfied with just enough
Or are you ready to stop trying?
Somehow we’ve been making it by
But I’m tired of toeing the line
Feels like a change is going to come
Feels like a change is going to come
Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well I think it’s about time
I stopped waiting for you
Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well I think it’s about time
Feels like change is coming soon
Well I hope it comes soon
I’m not waiting for you

Feels like a change is going to come (feels like change is coming)
Feels like a change is going to come (feels like change is coming)
I hope a change is going to come (feels like change is coming soon)
What’cha going to do? (soon)
Well I hope it comes soon
I’m not waiting for you

Well I hope it comes now
Well I hope it comes soon
Well I think it’s about time
Feel like change is coming

Well I hope it comes soon
I’m not waiting for you
Feels like change is coming, feels like change is coming soon
Well I hope it comes soon
I’m not waiting for you
What’cha going to do
Feels like change is coming, feels like change is coming soon
Well I hope it comes soon
I’m not waiting for you
What’cha going to do
Feels like change is coming, feels like change is coming soon
Well I hope it comes soon
Feels like change is coming soon
Feels like change is coming, feels like change is coming soon
I stopped waiting for you, for you

Where Did It Start Lyrics

By | November 4, 2008

Where did it start? Why? But what does it matter?
We’re far beyond the place that we started
No time or mind to chase after fault
When we know the time is so much of what’s lost
To a child born something with something so wrong
In his blood, a sickness, that pumps through his veins, through his heart
And shameful, if we only start when we know that it sleeps in a box in the third drawer

Where did it start?

Dare we try and wade through this muddy water
Fill this ocean of need, bottle by bottle
Hollowed we stand and watch this parade
Saturday morning down to the graves or (?)

Somebody save us
Somebody stand up
It’s ticking away(?), something must change
Somebody save us
How many more does it take?

Somebody save us
Somebody stand up
It’s ticking away(?) something must change
Somebody save us
How many more will it take?

Somebody save us
Somebody stand up
It’s ticking away(?) something must change
Somebody save us
How many more will it take?

Where did it start?
When does it stop?

I don’t want to get this wrong
Don’t you see what’s going on?
I don’t want to turn you away
Until you know what’s at stake
I don’t want to get this wrong
Don’t you see what’s going on?
I don’t want to turn you away
Until you know what’s at stake
Wake up!

Wake up!

Where did it start? Why? But what does it matter?
We’re far beyond the place that we started
No time or mind to chase after fault
When we know the time is so much of what’s lost
Dare we try and wade through this muddy water?
Fill this ocean of need, bottle by bottle
Hollowed we stand, watch this parade
Saturday morning down to the graves or (?)

Where did it start?
When does it stop?
Where did it start?
When does it stop?

Follow Your Lead Lyrics

By | November 4, 2008

Oh, I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, you know
I follow, through the crossroads

Pick up your shoulders
You are not a child
Don’t need no natural born soldiers
It’s not that kind of fight
And there is no water that can wash off this disease
But if you’ll just stand up then I’ll follow your lead

So get up and make it known
You’ll never take a chance alone
I’ll be there whatever your crossroads
I know it will take some time
I know it’s gonna take its toll
But all you gotta do is show me and I’ll follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead, you know
I follow, through the crossroads

So pull off your blinders and pick up the pieces
It only gets harder the longer you deny
You will discover you’ve got all that you need
Leave it where you’re standing and I’ll follow your lead, oh

So get up and make it known
You’ll never take a chance alone
I’ll be there whatever your crossroads
I know it will take some time
I know it’s gonna take its toll
But all you gotta do is show me and I’ll follow your lead, oh
I follow your lead no
I follow your lead you know
I follow your lead
I follow your lead oh
I follow your lead no
I follow your lead you know
I follow your lead no, no

We can build it up , build it up
Build it up until it’s strong
We can build it up, build it up
Build it up where you’re from
We can build it up, build it up
Build it up until it’s strong
We can build it up, build it up
Build it up where you’re from, oh oh oh
Build it up, build it up
Build it up, build it up
Build it up, build it up
Build it up, build it up

You know I’ll follow your lead, no, no

So get up and make it known
(I follow your lead )
You’ll never take a chance alone
(I follow your lead)
I’ll be there whatever your crossroads
(I follow your lead)
I know it will take some time
(I follow your lead)
I know it’s gonna take its toll
(I follow your lead)
But all you gotta do is show me and I’ll follow your lead
So get up and make it known
(I follow your lead)
You’ll never take a chance alone
(I follow your lead)
I’ll be there whatever your crossroads
(I follow your lead)
I know it will take some time
(I follow your lead)
I know it’s gonna take its toll
(I follow your lead)
But all you gotta do is show me

Lay Me Down Lyrics

By | November 4, 2008

I’ll never walk away from this
Or pull you to closely to my chest
With a father’s breaking heart
I’ll walk you one last time into the dark
There are no reasons to explain
A silent killer bears no blame
There are no answers though I pray
I die though this is not my grave
And I lay you down, lay you down

I’ll carry you child to a place where you can rest
Sweet tears they seep into the lid
As I put you down to bed
It tears me into pieces watching you fight to fill your lungs with breath
There’s no need to struggle
There’s no need to struggle

And I lay you down, lay you down
Don’t you cry no more
And I lay me down, lay me down

No, well I’m not ready, I’m not ready for this
Oh, well I’m not ready I’m not ready for this

There as no branches from this soil
My broken spirit steal my voice
I have no secrets to my name
Only the shadows hide my shame
And so I lift you upon my shoulder
Inside a splintered wooden chest
To Avalon we line the streets
I only hope that you’ll finally rest

I’m not ready for this (I’m not ready, I’m not ready)
I lay you down lay you down
Don’t you cry no more (I’m not ready, I’m not ready)
I lay me down, lay me down
I’d gladly lay me down, lay me down

Hanson
Three blond-haired Oklahoma brothers, Taylor, Zac and Isaac Hanson topped the U.S. charts in 1997 with the most infectious rip-off of the Jackson 5 since New Edition, MMMBop. With that single leading the charge, a major-label debut titled Middle of Nowhere soared to No. 2 on Billboard’s album chart while racking up worldwide sales of 10 million, 4 million of those in the States. The album also topped the U.K. sales chart. Early the following year, an authorized biography hit the New York Times Best Sellers List at No. 9.

Article:Group braves city barefoot to fight African plight

By | November 3, 2008

It’s going to take a couple bars of soap and some serious elbow grease but Allison Seidel is certain her feet will come clean.

“It’s going to take some scrubbing,” said Seidel, one of about a dozen who walked a mile barefoot around Calgary raising funds and awareness for the African AIDS epidemic yesterday. “We want to walk a mile in their shoes, well, in their lack of shoes because it’s such a huge problem.”

Seidel said she got the idea from the band Hanson, who is promoting bare-footed walks on their current tour and will donate $1 for every person that undertakes the cause.
