The 2013 MTV Movie Awards red carpet offered plenty of opportunities to talk about the star of the show–movies!
So, we checked in with some of the hottest celebs to find out what their favorite movies of all time are.
Cutie Taylor Hanson had a wide range when it came to a favorite, saying, “It’s hard to pick. It’s probably somewhere between Goonies and The Godfather.”
Filmmaker Andrew Jenks picked Good Will Hunting, while Jake T. Austin named Gangs of New York.
Laura Marana of Austin & Ally and Vanessa Marano, of Switched at Birth, told us Princess Bride and Social Network were high on their lists, but they also kicked it way old school, naming Gone With the Wind.
You can’t beat the classics.
Awkward star Nolan Funk said, “My favorite movie this year was by far Silver Linings Playbook. I love that movie…I love Jennifer Lawrence.”

Hanson has been on our radios and in our hearts for the past 21 years.Yes, that’s right, the band celebrates its 21st anniversary this year and they’ve certainly come a long way from their first professional gig back in 1992 at the Mayfest Arts Festival in Tulsa, OK, and we see no signs they will be slowing down anytime soon. They MMM-bopped their way into our hearts in 1997 and are set to release what promises to be an incredible new album, Anthem, later this spring. They joined Carrie Keagan on Big Morning Buzz Live this morning to discuss the new album, being suave partiers and, of course, to perform their new single “Get The Girl Back.”

We cannot get enough of this amazing threesome so we probed them for more, giving Isaac,Taylor and Zac Hanson The Scoop treatment. Read on to find out which brother is best at burping, what the greatest gifts they’ve received from their fans and what the best career advice they’ve received.

“The Hanson brothers have been friends of mine for a long time,” the Twilight star told me earlier this week at Coach’s benefit for the Children’s Defense Fund. “A few years ago, maybe three or four years ago, I actually wrote them a letter.”

And guess what—they wrote back.

“I went to some shows and I became a die-hard Hanson fan,” Reed said.

Most recently, Hanson asked Reed, her hubby Paul McDonald and another good friend,Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings, to be in their new music video.

McDonald has even bought a “special” Hanson ring for Reed. Unfortunately, he only knows the size of her wedding finger. “So I got this beautiful Hanson ring in gold that only fits my wedding finger,” Reed said. “I was like, ‘Really, Paul? You want me to swap this out and put the Hanson ring there? I can [but] it’s a little weird.'”

On Monday Hanson Release Get the Girl Back Video was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Hanson are back with their latest single “Get the Girl Back,” and the trio of brothers prove they still have it going on.

The lead song from their forthcoming album Anthem, due out June 18, embodies a sultry retro vibe complete with a brass section, hand-clapped rhythms and Taylor Hanson’s familiar vocals.

The single won’t be released until April 9, but fans can check out the the song’s music video which stars actresses Kat Dennings and Nikki Reed.

Hanson will be celebrating 21 years as a band this summer on June 17 with a birthday show at New York’s Irving Plaza before they hit the road for their Anthem World Tour. The tour kicks off on July 18 in Argentina and ends November 20 in Charlotte, North Carolina. – Watch the video.

As previously reported, Tulsa-based pop-rock trio Hanson was the musical guest Tuesday on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” where they performed their bouncy new single “Get the Girl Back.” Check out the performance in the last segment on Tuesday night’s episode, posted above.

The band of brothers recently announced the release of their new album and world tour. Titled “Anthem,” the new record will be released on June 18. The North and South American leg of the “Anthem World Tour” begins July 18 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and ends Nov. 20 in Charlotte, N.C.

On Tuesday, the band released the new album’s lead-off single, “Get The Girl Back,” along with launching the presale of the highly anticipated album and the onsale of the North and South American leg of their world tour, including deluxe album and ticket bundles. The video is a narrative tale that features the band performing in a packed club backed by an old-school brass section that accentuates the retro aesthetic of the song. “Anthem” was produced and written by the band and was mixed by Tom Lord-Alge. According to a news release, it features a more guitar-driven sound, pulling from a series of harder hitting rock and R&B influences from James Brown to early Michael Jackson, and AC/DC.

This year marks the 21st anniversary of Hanson. The brothers – Isaac, Taylor and Zac – have been nominated for multiple Grammys, released five studio albums, spawning a string of hit singles, including their 1997 No. 1 smash “MMMbop,” and have sold more than 16 million albums worldwide.
