WEEKLY PIC

This week we are deep in rehearsal preparing for the Roots and Rock ‘N’ Roll Tour. Here is a shot of Isaac at 3CG Studios, following a bit of rock ‘n’ roll. We hope to see you at a show!

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

This week rehearsal is shifting from learning songs to crafting the shows for the RNR tour.  There is still a lot of work to do before we will be ready to walk on stage and (crossing our fingers) melt some faces, but it is simply a matter of performing each set list with enough repetition that both our music and all of the cover songs are so internalized that we are able to put everything else aside and simply perform.  Tonightwe have yet another Members Only stream from the making of the new RNR EP. We will be sharing more documentary style footage from the tracking sessions starting at 6PM CT and looping through the weekend for your viewing pleasure. We can’t wait to share all of this music.  See you on the road!

Isaac, Taylor and Zac

Fetty Wap, Shawn Mendes Added To Forbes Under 30 Music Festival

By | September 16, 2015

Forbes

The Forbes Under 30 Music Festival, which will close the main programming segment of the Forbes Under 30 Summit, just added a lot of firepower: pop sensation Shawn Mendes and Fetty Wap, the hip-hop juggernaut who has three of the top 20 songs on the charts right now.

They join a lineup that already includes Lindsey Stirling and Hanson. (Avicii, who was also originally on the lineup, has canceled all touring and promotional activities for the rest of the year due to health problems. He has committed to co-headline next year’s Festival.)

Fetty Wap, who will make a guest performance, skyrocketed into the hip-hop and pop stratosphere over the past year with “Trap Queen,” which has tallied over 230 million views on YouTube en route to becoming the breakout hit of 2015. The 24-year-old New Jersey native was discovered by Google-backed 300 Entertainment, a label founded by some of Def Jam’s top alums. His debut album comes out Sept 25th.

Shawn Mendes is following the path of fellow Canadians Justin Bieber and Drake, getting big enough on the Internet–specifically, Vine–to earn a major label record deal. In April, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter released his first studio album, Handwritten, and it went to No. 1 on the charts in the U.S., Canada and Norway thanks in part to hit single “Stitches.”

The show will take place on Tuesday, October 6th on the Festival Pier on Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing. VIP tickets, which allow for expedited and early entry to their first-come, first-served concert, are currently on sale via Ticketmaster.

On Monday, 8,000 free tickets will be given away to people who take positive actions to end extreme poverty through our partner, Global Citizen.

18 Boy Band Heartthrobs Who Are Now Dads!

the Stir

It seems like yesterday we screamed our eternal love for Justin, Jordan and the Joeys (Fatone and McIntyre), plastered our bedroom walls with boy band posters, and argued with our BFFs over which band was the best

Isaac Hanson

The oldest of the Tulsa, Oklahoma, brothers, Isaac was just 15 when their MMMBop and its duwop chorus propelled the band to overnight fame in 1996. It was practically love at first sight when the guitarist and vocalist, now 34, spotted Nikki Dufresne sitting in the first few rows at a concert in 2003. The couple now has three children: Clark Everett, 8, James Monroe, 6, and Nina Odette, 1
