Sorry you missed Charlie Sheen? We are, too. But he promised our colleague JulieAnn McKellogg “interviews for life” so expect to hear more from the soul marinating actor in The Reliable Source. In the meantime, stew on these stars coming to the District this week:

On Wednesday, Nashville hit makers Lady Antebellum will headline (along with some members of Congress moonlighting as backup singers) the annual Grammys on the Hill awards show at Hamilton Live. Other musical luminaries in the building include Los Lonely Boys, five-time Grammy winner Dionne Warwick and famous-in-the-90s pop trio Hanson, formerly of The Long Hair Don’t Care coalition.
Can’t get “MMMbop” out of your head now? Then listen instead to the man whose “legend precedes him like thunder precedes lightning.” Actor Jonathan Goldsmith, best known as “The Most Interesting Man in the World” from those Dos Equis beer commercials, will emcee a private reception for the photo exhibit “Surviving the Peace: Landmines, Mortars and Munitions” hosted by Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) on the Hill in honor of the International Day for Mine Awareness.

If you still haven’t gotten your fill of hilarious voice-overs, then head to the Warner Theatre to see super commenters and former Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski at the U.S. Olympic Committee’s new awards show, “Best of the U.S.” in Washington.
On Thursday, Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group and owner of his own private Caribbean island, will be the guest of honor at the British ambassador’s residence. Sir Richard is in town for the 13th annual Aviation Summit and is planning a trip to space on Virgin Galatic sometime in 2014. Tickets are $250,000. We’re hoping “The Most Interesting Man in the World” can afford one because according to those Dos Equis ads his alien abductors asked him to probe them.
