Remember the kids in the band called Hanson…MMMbop…? Well, it turns out now they have their own kids and are taking time out from fatherhood to head down under in September.
The boys are back after a 7-year absence with a new album titled Shout It Out.
Frontman (it’s weird saying man) Taylor Hanson recently confirmed MMMbop would be on the setlist along with an AC/DC cover:
It’s been 10 years now and that’s turned it into a celebration of the song [MMMbop]. We do it acoustically now in the middle of the show. Someone not as familiar with the band will see us, though, as a rock band. We do an AC/DC cover to songs off our first album. We grew up listening to soul music. We idolize Otis Redding. We hope there’s some of that in our music.
