Jen and Ty from Toronto Ontario Canada share their story
I can’t exactly say my fiancé and I met specifically because of Hanson but they definitely increased the love! In 1998 my fiancé and I with out knowing each other shared our first concert experience within the same venue at Torontos Molson Amp. The first thing I mentioned to Ty during our first date was how I loved Hanson… That’s when he expressed his like for Hanson and from there I knew it must be love!
Over the last 3 years Ty and I have found ourselves at many Hanson events, the last one in particular topped it all! I personally met the boys and anxiously asked if they would be apart of our wedding by being our Save the date. No hesitation they agreed! Not many can say Hanson were the ones to announce our wedding date through a post card to our friends and family. Thank you Hanson for making me the happiest bride-fan in the world. Your contribution was a huge hit to our friends, family AND social media!
This week in our world was an adventure into creativity, as we hosted our annual songwriting retreat Fools Banquet. Over the last week we shared songwriting collaborations with some of our favorite artists and friends, writing and recording more than 20 songs in every style. The gathering was inspiring on many levels, but it was a particularly great spark that helped push us into the creation of this years Fan Club EP. Over the last two days we wrote and recorded four new songs for the coming EP and we will be finishing the final recordings this week back at 3CG. This week’s pic was taken during one of the many songwriting sessions. We can’t wait to share the product of some of our creation with you all!

In this pic the Taylor Isaac and Zac are deep in the writing process of a new song for the 2014 fan club EP.
A fan in the Netherlands is trying to get the Hanson to do a show there. Here’s the details:
I’m trying to host a crowdfunded concert in the Netherlands. I’ve found an organization that is willing to help me. So goldentickets are available from now. 🙂 There are 100 golden tickets, when those tickets are sold the band will be contacted. If they are willing to work with us date/time/place will be decided on. If we don’t sell enough tickets to reach our goal the tickets that are already sold will be completely refunded! So to be clear: the band has no knowledge of this initiative yet. First we have to build a base to start from. I hope you’re all just as excited as I am!
