Zac, Taylor and Isaac are still going strong after their 10-city Roots & Rock ’N’ Roll Tour of brotherly love, and their first order of business now that they’re back on solid ground is to start tinkering away on some new jams.

ET Online spoke to the trio about their plans for a new album, and Zac said that we should start expecting their seventh album and other fun things from them because they intend to deliver.

Zac said they’re “always, absolutely … all the time” making new music together, and a record is “definitely” forthcoming. “But we’re in a phase where we just want people to expect that there’s more coming,” he added. “Whether it’s a special tour that has an EP — we do a destination concert where people travel to Jamaica and spend a week with us there. It might be downloading a song off of our beer.”

(Yes, Hanson has a beer brand, and it’s appropriately titled Mmmhops.)

“So, there will be music no matter what,” added Zac.

Hanson’s last album, Anthem, was released in 2013, and since the discography was a consistent three year gap between each record (before that, Shout It Out dropped in 2010, after 2007’s The Walk, and in 2004 they had Underneath and so on), so by that logic, it’s Timmmebop in 2016.

It’s been nearly 20 years since Hanson sky-rocketed to fame with their hit single, “MMMBop,” but the trio is still making waves… and music.

The band just wrapped up a special “long-form” 10-city tour across the U.S. and Canada — appropriately titled The Roots and Rock ‘n’ Roll Tour. It featured two concerts in each of the 10 major markets with one night dedicated to playing covers by artists that inspire Hanson — Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, etc. — and the second featuring their own hits.

ET caught up with Zac, Taylor, and Isaac Hanson in Los Angeles and they promised that more new tunes are on the way.

“Always, absolutely… all the time,” Zac says when asked if they’re currently writing new material for a potential seventh studio album, adding that fans can “definitely” expect a seventh studio album.

“I’m sure there will be a record in the future there,” Taylor adds. “But we’re in a phase where we just want people to expect that there’s more coming. Whether it’s a special tour that has an EP… we do a destination concert where people travel to Jamaica and spend a week with us there… it might be a downloading a song off of our beer… so there will be more music no matter what.”

Aside from working on new music — Hanson also balances raising families. All three brothers are married with kids — Taylor and his wife, Natalie, have five children while Isaac and Zac each have three with their wives, Nicole and Kate, respectively.

Do any of the 11 Hanson kids have musical aspiration? Could a Hanson 2.0 be in the works?

YES.

“There’s a lot of music in the Hanson family,” Taylor says. “I mean, it’s just in the gene pool. It’s around them… they’re around it.”

Well. We’re ready for new music from Hanson — and their kids!

But Sam Frost seemed eager to try her hand at another trade during her second on-air show with Rove McManus on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old sang her heart out along to Hanson’s hit MMMBop, to the amusement of her co-host on their 2DayFM breakfast show.
