ahha Tulsa Virtual Series: The Greenwood District: Then & Now
You may know the Greenwood District as the backdrop to Hanson’s “Thinking ‘Bout Somethin'” music video. But there is a lot more to this historic district that played a big part in Oklahoma history, Black Oklahoma History and American history. ahha Tulsa (which you may know as the past site of the Hanson Day gallery) is hosting a virtual series every Thursday in April from 7-8pm.
Each week will cover a different topic:
- Blacks in Oklahoma Pre-Statehood (1830-1907)
- The Evolution of Greenwood (1890-1921)
- The National Climate
- The Massacre
- The Aftermath
This class series was created by Tri-City Collective and will be taught virtually over Zoom on Thursdays in April. Registrants may purchase one ticket per computer/household and will be sent a private link to join the Zoom sessions by March 29. Individuals will not be admitted to the meeting if their name is not on our registration list.
More details and tickets can be purchased here:

The lyrics listing notes if we found them from ASCAP, BMI or SESAC and that no further information is known at this time. If you noticed an uptick in the number of songs listed, this is why!

Masked Singer Week 1
Song: Man in the Mirror
“Can multiply up to 15 times”
Oh Oh Hey There
So I wasn’t expecting you.
You see, I’ve been doing my own thing for quite some time not like in the beginning back when I was the world hottest toy. MMM those were the days but i knew i was more than just something to be toyed with. A puppet. And as much as they tried to put me in a box, I just didn’t fit. Newer, shinier, manufactured toys filled the shelves so I was cast to the side. And it was the best thing ever! Turns out I can still sell out without being a total sell out and I’m ready to show there’s even more beneath the surface.
Russian Dolls on ‘The Masked Singer’ Could Be These Boy Band Members We Haven’t Seen in a While
As the first duo this season, viewers want to know who Russian Dolls are on The Masked Singer season 5. The Russian Dolls shocked fans and the judges on the first episode of the current season when they revealed that they’re not just one doll but two.
For those who are first-time watchers of The Masked Singer, here’s a short explainer on the show: The Masked Singer is based on the South Korean show, King of Masked Singer, which sees celebrities perform in head-to-toe costumes as judges and live studio audience members try to guess their identities. One by one, the celebrities are eliminated and reveal their identities to the judges and viewers at home until there is one masked singer left standing. That contestant is declared the winner. In the past, The Masked Singer‘s winners have included T-Pain (a.k.a. Monster), Wayne Brady (a.k.a. Fox), Kandi Burruss (a.k.a. Night Angel) and LeAnn Rimes (a.k.a. Sun).
And before you think The Masked Singer is only for D-list stars, here are the stats for season 5: This season’s contestants boast a combined 26 Grammy nominations, nine multi-platinum singles, four Oscar nominations, three Super Bowl performances, six Olympic Gold Medals and two World Records.
There are also some changes to this season. The first is the introduction of wildcard contestants, who have the chance to unseat another contestant and join the race for the coveted Golden Mask trophy. There are 10 non-wildcard contestants who are split into two groups of five: Group A and Group B. Another change is that Nick Cannon—who hosted The Masked Singer full time from seasons 1 through 4—will be replaced by Niecy Nash for the first few episodes.
So that’s what we know about The Masked Singer season 5. But who are Russian Dolls on The Masked Singer? Well, read on for the most believable theories ahead.
Who Are Russian Dolls on The Masked Singer?
Description:
He used to be the world’s hottest toy, but he’s been doing his own thing for quite some time. Back then, he was a puppet and put into a box. Newer toys replaced him, which was a good thing because he was still successful without being someone’s toy.

Zac & Taylor Hanson

We’re almost certain that Russian Dolls are Zac and Taylor Hanson. For one, Hanson—which also included Zac and Taylor’s brother Isaac—was one of the most popular boy bands in the ’90s with songs like their 1997 number-one single, “MMMBop.” In their package, Russian Dolls talk about how they were replaced by shinier and more manufactured toys, which could be a reference to the 2000s boy band craze with NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. The package also shows a sign with the words “Mizfitz Toyz Store,” which could be a clue to the first letter of Hanson’s members’ names: ITZ. The bus stop in the package could also be a nod to the “bus stop” lyric in the band’s 1997 song, “Man From Milwaukee.”
The Masked Singer season 5 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on FOX. Here’s how to watch it for free.
Zac Hanson Welcomes Son Quincy Joseph Thoreau with Wife Kate, Jokes That He’s ‘Freaking Out’
The couple also share Mary Lucille Diana, 4, George Abraham Walker, 7, Junia Rosa Ruth, 10, and John Ira Shepherd, 12½
Welcome to the Hanson family!
Zac Hanson, the youngest brother in the musical group and the band’s drummer, and his wife Kate welcomed their fifth child, son Quincy Joseph Thoreau, on Sunday, he revealed on Instagram.
“I am a little late, but I celebrated #internationalwomensday the best way I know how,” Zac, 35, wrote on Tuesday, sharing a photo of his wife holding the newborn as well as a shot of himself jokingly “freaking out” over the baby boy’s arrival.
“Marveling at the superpower women are uniquely gifted… as well as freaking out over the fact that I am now responsible to help raise another person,” the dad continued. “Quincy Joseph Thoreau Hanson. Born 3/7/21.”
Zac married his longtime love Kate Tucker in June 2006 after five years of dating. They also share four other children together: Mary Lucille Diana, 4, George Abraham Walker, 7, Junia Rosa Ruth, 10, and John Ira Shepherd, 12½.
The parents announced their pregnancy news exclusively with PEOPLE in January.
“We’re so happy and thankful for the things 2020 got right, especially this little guy coming in March! 💙 Here’s to fresh starts and new beginnings,” Zac said at the time.
Celebrating Kate’s birthday in November, Zac wrote on Instagram alongside a selfie: “Happy birthday 🎉 🎂 to my favorite person in the world @kathrynthanson just as beautiful as the day we met 20 years ago.”
Zac and Kate’s latest addition is the 15th child among the three brothers in the Hanson band, which also includes Taylor, 37, and Isaac, 40.
Taylor and wife Natalie, 36, welcomed daughter Maybellene Alma Joy on Dec. 7. The couple also share daughters Wilhelmina “Willa” Jane, 8, Penelope “Penny” Anne, 15, and sons Claude Indiana Emmanuel, 2, Viggo Moriah, 12, River Samuel, 14, and Jordan Ezra, 18.
Isaac and his wife Nicole have three kids: Nina Odette, 6, James Monroe, 12, and Clarke Everett, 14.
“It’s a cool thing,” Zac said of their collective kids becoming close over the years, while appearing on the Lorraine talk show in February 2019. “We spend a lot of time together touring, in the studio and around each other, so our kids know each other really, really well. They’re really, really close.”
One Hit Thunder – Episode 57 – MMMBop by Hanson

We are joined once again by Matthew Milligan of the band Wheatus who joins us to discuss the pop sensation that was Hanson and their song MMMBop. Him and Producer Matt are long term Hanson fans but right before this episode was recorded they learned of the terrible career choices the Hanson Brothers made on their socials during 2020 and had a [lot] to process it into a comedy podcast 2 days later.
