The guys – Bradley Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball, Tristan Evans – filmed the video
during their adventures in Los Angeles last month.
“’MMMBop’ is one of the biggest songs from a teen act in the past 20 years,” the guys told JJJ. “The song had such a worldwide impact, and we love the song – so we HAD to cover it!”
As for their plans for next year, The Vamps told us, “Thinking about 2014 is something we get very excited about. We were very lucky this year to release our first single, and were totally blown away by the public’s response. Consequently, our main goal for 2014 is to meet as many fans as we can, in as many places as we can! Furthermore, we are so excited to be releasing our debut album around Easter. We have been working on this record for the past two years, so it’s a big step for us to finally release something!”
They added, “We can’t wait to head out on the road next year and play with some awesome people – we are touring with Taylor Swift in February, and then The Wanted the following month. Hopefully we’ll have the chance to meet as many fans as possible!”
