HANSON: A Mix of Feelings

By | March 30, 2026

WEEKLY PIC
This week we have the Hanson.net members and the community that has joined us far and wide for over 25 years and the gratitude for what we have shared. Thank you to all our members for making the last 25 years of the Hanson.net community a true Musical Ride! When a door closes, Roll Down A Window (and turn the music up).

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

This week is a mix of many feelings. You have seen a show announcement pop up this week bringing us to the east coast, and it always feel good to know we will be sharing live music with YOU. We also know there will be more live shows coming and we’re looking forward to each one.  On the bittersweet side of our world, we shared earlier this month a message related to our Hanson.net membership no longer continuing for the foreseeable future.

Now we are in the last few days of the membership offering we have offered for over two decades and that has our hearts and minds getting all the feels. We are thinking about the awesome things we have done together over the last 25 years with the member’s community. The opportunity to cultivate the members community helped us to try new ideas and to cultivate special experiences from the early recordings of our acoustic Underneath at the Church Studio in Tulsa, to the Back To The Island events for more than 10 years and of course the many multifaceted Hanson Day events. These experiences have been incredible and though we are making a change,  we also know that exciting things will come with each new season.

Looking to this  week’s Stories blog, you can find a thread which connects with this moment, as it looks through the lens of Rock N Roll Razorblade, an iconic member’s song which embodies the passion we have for music and the journey we all go on as we pursue a life well lived. A life well lived often means taking risk, not playing it safe and if we want a longer lifespan, we learn it’s important to keep an eye on the future while we dare the scars to form.

Excerpt from Stories Part 21.
In the immortal words of Alfred Lord Tennyson “Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”. So, If we get to love, listen, feel, touch, and share the beautiful experiences of life’s journey, maybe the trade off is the missing that comes with it. You don’t miss things you don’t love. Things that challenge you bring greater joy, and things of joy open your heart to all the feelings both high and low. Ah, The journey is the destination.

Back to the daily affairs, we hope everyone took advantage of the Digital Only sale and grabbed a few things for their catalog, also don’t miss this weeks members only series as we round out the Underneath Experience Blog series along with this weeks Stories blog mentioned above.

At the top of our list is gratitude! Gratitude for our incredible community, and for your trust to allow us to start things and also to pause things to leave room for new discoveries. Look out for some more shows coming up and wherever you are we hope you are having a great week full of inspiration, and music. Don’t forget to roll the windows down and turn the music up!
