HANSON: Wild Blue Yonder

By | April 22, 2022

WEEKLY PIC
Last week, the world was introduced to the epic battle of the Dum Bell’s Gym. We hope you enjoyed the brand new music video for the tune Don’t Let Me Down at least half as much a we did making it … (without the sweaty gym rat fragrance).

MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for? Don’t Let Me Down is out and the music video featuring Frankie Muniz and Zach Myers is waiting and ready to make you smile. It was so hard to keep a straight face and stop laughing while we were filming, but I think that is what happens when you are having fun with friends. The video was such a joy to make, and we hope you get just as much out of watching it. Don’t Let Me Down is a song that has a deep connection to the RGB project and all the many challenges that come with pushing ourselves to continue growing, even 30 years into being a band.

This week, we are sharing a new episode of the HANSON Time Podcast, appropriately themed all around Don’t Let Me Down and Blue. Hanson.net members can head over to the HNet media player and hear it right now, as well as the full archive of HTP episode.

We are just over two weeks away from HANSON Day! Really it is HANSON Week. From Monday May 9th through Sunday May 15th we will be streaming live on Hanson.net every night. No matter where you are in the world if you’re a Hanson.net member you can tune in and spend time with us and this awesome community of people. Hear the new White Rabbit EP, learn about the creation go the 2022 Gallery, or watch a live concert. It’s gonna be epic! If you are making the trek to Tulsa, in-person events start on the evening of Thursday, May 12th with the first ever HTP with a live studio audience. It is going to be a great week. We can’t wait to see you all, and for you to be the first to hear the full RGB album. 2022 is going to be a great year for music.

DON’T LET ME DOWN OUT NOW
HANSON release their new song “Don’t Let Me Down,” the third single from the multi-platinum, 3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated pop-rock trio’s eagerly anticipated new project, RED GREEN BLUE. Featuring Zach Myers from Shinedown, “Don’t Let Me Down” was written by Zac Hanson, and co-produced by Zac, GRAMMY® Award-winning Producer/Engineer/Mixer Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wilco) and GRAMMY® Award-winning Artist/Producer David Garza (Fiona Apple, Midland, Sharon Van Etten), the rock-infused pop song is available now via 3CG Records at all DSPs and streaming services. A hilariously entertaining official music video starring Myers as well as Frankie Muniz is streaming now via YouTube.

“’Don’t Let Me Down’ is a song all about seizing your moment. It’s about living up to your potential. We all need encouragement to overcome the barriers in our lives, but ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ is a personal message – I wrote it to myself. As I was facing the challenge of writing a solo project for the first time, I needed to hear, ‘don’t let me down, your moment is now,’ said Zac Hanson.
