MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
Over the years we have tried to give fans a wide variety of musical experiences, from 5 of 5 to String Theory, Musical Ride to Roots & Rock ‘N’ Roll, but starting this year we took yet another new path, and fans all over told us they loved it.
When we make a set list, we are faced with both the challenge of what songs will make the set, but also what is left on the cutting room floor. Listener’s Choice puts you in the driver’s seat with head-to-head voting.
We have spent the last three months going through every major album, featuring a different album at every show on the Against The World + concert series. Now for our fourth and final month there is just one thing left to do. Let you pick. Every day from now until September 26th, we will be putting up a new head-to-head poll on Twitter. Whatever wins, we will play as part of our October Against The World + Listener’s Choice shows. We’re excited to see what songs you will pick, but whatever it is it feels good to be looking forward to more shows in October.
As part of the ATW + weekend, we hope Hanson.net members will also plan to join us on Sunday October 3rd for a 7PM CT Members Only Nightcap stream. We will be hanging out, taking your questions, sharing encores and talking about some of our plans for 2022. We can’t wait to see you then.

“Stronger”, the fifth single from Against The World, their new project being rolled out throughout 2021 over seven months, one single at a time. Available on all digital platforms, “Stronger” begins as a quiet waltz with just piano and Taylor’s solitary vocal, yet soon explodes with the band’s impeccable harmonies soaring through one of their finest melodies which calls to mind the influences of artists like Queen. The lyrics look deep within searching for inner strength to get through hard times.
“Stronger depicts the fight between the overwhelming challenges and despair that surround us each day, and our deeper desire to overcome adversity. The arrangement attempts to frame this message through it’s intimacy, as well as it’s bold layered vocals and guitars. Ultimately the song chronicles the search for strength beyond understanding”, said Taylor Hanson.
