Saturday was the 4th ATW+ Concert Series featuring The Walk. Once again, the album was played in its entirety. All 4 of the new Against the World tracks were once again featured as well. There were no covers included from the Walk tour era and no tracks from the Take the Walk EP made it into the set, although the setslist did show Isaac’s solo as “Lay Me Down” but instead he went for a rocking solo of A Minute Without You with the crowd subbing in for Taylor and Zac on the “Oh Yeahs”. Taylor’s solo was TTA’s Save Me and he had mentioned they were looking back at some songs for an upcoming project before playing it. The encore was on the setlist as Can’t Stop and Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’ but they ended up doing Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’ and In The City instead. The crowd was incredibly high energy and perhaps they wanted to play off of that and get everyone jumping to end the evening.
Next month’s concerts will feature Shout it Out and Anthem. As these are more recent albums, these songs have been in more heavy rotation lately. Look for a song stats post in the next couple of weeks where we break down what rarities might end up included in the set…
