The album that sold more than 10 million copies worldwide deserves a special tour. That is why the North American band Hanson performs in Salvador, on this Sunday, the 27th, to commemorate the 25 years of his career. The Fonte Nova Arena was chosen as the location for the songs ‘Weird’, ‘Save me’, ‘I was born’ and ‘MMMbop’, as well as the newest one, which was dubbed ‘I Was Born’ May of this year. The gates will open at 7:30 p.m.
In 2017, the band launches the international tour “Middle Of Everywhere World Tour” that highlights the main songs of their albums. It will be only four shows of the band in Brazil. Salvador will be the last opportunity to see the show in the North / Northeast. The tour before will happen before by Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and São Paulo.
In the clip of the newest song, 11 of their 12 children appear dubbing and joking.Currently the band has big numbers like seven studio albums, three compilations, eight live albums, seventeen singles, eighteen promotional albums, eight songs in soundtrack albums, nineteen music videos, thirteen videos between concerts and documentaries about the band.
With the beginning of his career in 1992, the band spent the first five years building their fan base as an independent band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the American state. After signing with a record label in 1997, they found themselves in the midst of a meteoric rise with their internationally known single “MMMBop” from their debut album “Middle Of Nowhere,” which was followed by 40 consecutive top singles.
This success was followed by an extensive line-up of hits, more than five recorded albums, multiple Grammy nominations and more than 16 million copies sold. After its second decade, the band went their own way, managing an independent label while maintaining a coveted relationship with its international fan base.
