MESSAGE FROM THE BAND

What a great week we had in the studio!  Like musical spring-cleaning, every year around this time we make a new EP of music for Hanson.net members.  Five songs written and recorded from scratch in a week … and what a week it was!  Every song on the new EP brings a totally different color; Ghost Writer hops and bops along; Reach Out For My Hand is almost psychedelic; I Lift You Up falls apart in all the right places; it is basically some sort of musical rainbow.  Starting next Friday, April 14th and every Friday leading up to HANSON Day, we will be sharing footage from the writing and recording of new EP for Hanson.net members.  Members can tune in at 6PM CT on Hanson.net to get a sneak peak of the new EP before its release at HANSON Day.

It feels like so much is going on, but there is still so much more that we have to do and share this year.  We are almost ready to release the new song, I Was Born. We will be filming the new music video for that in the next few weeks and then in a flash we will be on the road playing shows for the Middle Of Everywhere World Tour. Then after all of that, there is still the new Christmas Album to be excited about.

We continue to be blown away by the response we have been seeing to everything we are doing. If this year is a party to celebrate our 25th anniversary… everyone we invited is coming, and they’re bringing chips!

HANSON DAY 2017

Fan Club Exclusive: HANSON Day is a celebration of music, art and community, and it marks the anniversary of HANSON’s founding.  You don’t want to miss it!Every year in May, HANSON invites Hanson.net members from around the world to meet in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a weekend long celebration; to  hear new music performed live for the first time, see one of a kind art pieces created just for HANSON Day or take a step behind the curtain to learn how classic HANSON songs were written.

All you have to do to attend is have an active fan club membership (valid through at least May 21, 2017), RSVP before May 7th 2017 and be age 13+.

MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE TOUR

Multi-Grammy nominated pop-rock trio HANSON are starting their 25th year together with a bang. Their Middle Of Everywhere 25th Anniversary World Tour went on sale with many shows selling out in minutes throughout Europe and the US, including London, Antwerp, New York, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and Boston, followed by quick sell outs in a number of other markets, including Nashville, Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, Pittsburgh and more. Due to demand, the band added a second night at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, an additional European date in Zurich, Switzerland, a second night in both Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.

The tour will kick off on May 21st in Tulsa, OK with a headlining set at HANSON’s own rapidly growing The Hop Jam Beer and Music Festival. The South American leg is still to be announced.
