OKPop Museum finds home in Brady District

TULSA, Okla. – Quick Facts:

The Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture, OKPOP, will be located across from Cain’s Ballroom
David Sharp donated the land near Main and Easton
Planning begins in 2017, groundbreaking happens in 2018
The museum will open in late 2019
An underground parking lot will offer 100 spaces
350 collections from Oklahoma artists were donated, including Leon Russell’s last piano

The OKPop Museum will call the Brady District home thanks to a land donation.

The location of the museum was part of debate as organizers looked at different areas across Green Country. The home will be across from Cain’s Ballroom, near Main and Easton.
