This week, all over the US, people are gathering to celebrate our American Independence. It’s a day of heartfelt appreciation for our privileges and blessings and a remembrance of our country’s heroes who fought to establish a land of great opportunity. Some of our best memories are from Independence Day gatherings (
July 4th) out in the hot sun with friends and family, most of the time nearly blowing up a relative while in the throes of a risky firework master plan (usually involving all the Hanson boys). We hope all of the Americans out there get a chance to enjoy a wonderful holiday gathering (whether it involves explosives or not) and that you get a moment to reflect on just how amazing it is that our upstart nation even exists.
