It is hard to believe the Root & Rock ‘N’ Roll Tour has come to a close. It was way too short, but also very sweet! The first show in each city being almost exclusively cover songs had a powerful effect on each experience. For us there is a special joy to playing music that has inspired us and to get to place our songs side by side with some of the greatest records ever was both terrifying and extremely gratifying. There was a new found ease to this tour, like every night we were saying “We’re not going anywhere” and the audience echoed it back with clapping hands and raised voices. Night two in each city was such a celebration. We played the shows and the way we often do wrapped things up with a little bit of Rock & Roll! Thank you to everyone who came out to these shows and made them such a joy to play. We are looking forward to sharing new music soon and seeing many of you at Back To The Island in January.
