We spent the last few days in New York performing with Blues Traveler to promote our collaboration on their new album, Blow Up The Moon. We wrote and recorded the song Top Of The World last year, but this was the first time we ever played it live. It is not every day you tackle combing the musical style of two different bands into a cohesive sound, but the challenge has been fun and the end result was worth it. The traveling continued from New York and we are now in Belgium for a one off concert as part of a festival here. With all the concerts we have played all over the world, this will be our first time playing in Belgium, but that just makes for something to smile about, even after 23 years as a band we are still doing things for the first time. It feels like these past few weeks have been incredibly full with Back To The Island going on sale, and the Hop Jam being announce, and all the events for HANSON Day to prepare for, but in this case being busy just meals we have a lot to look forward to.
If you are coming to HANSON Day this year, make sure to checkout the guide to Tulsa that was posted today. The Guide has lots of information about what is going on around T-town HANSON Day weekend as well as special promotion that Tulsa restaurants and retailers are doing for Hanson.net members.
