This pic was captured during the last Back To The Island event in Cancun. We had a great time, now it’s time to look ahead to the next BTTI in Jamaica!

Today is a big day in the H.net community. It’s time for the official announcement of Back To The Island 2016 plus more information on the 2015 HANSON Day events including the first every MOEY Awards.

This year BTTI is actually going, back to the island.  We are changing locations for 2016 and heading to an amazing new resort in Jamaica.  We are really excited about taking everyone to a new and improved destination and, after incorporating the member feedback from this year, we think BTTI 2016 is going to be the best one yet!

The MOEY Awards are a special new community award that is all about acknowledging amazing members from around the world and today all the categories are being announced on Hanson.net.  Over the next few weeks we are looking forward to checking out all the entries and cringing just a little about what’s in store for the paparazzi category. This week we also posted the final descriptions for the HANSON Day Lectures and how members can get involved sharing their own stories on stage with Taylor, shaping music that will be recorded live with Zac and looking back at musical favorites from years past with Isaac.  Looking forward to sharing even more of our plans for 2015 in May at HANSON Day.

This year as part of HANSON Day 2015, HANSON will be starting a new tradition called The MOEYs.

A MOEY award is given to an extraordinary HANSON fan.  Awards are given for a variety of achievements, from being an outstanding Fan Club member to most entertaining performances in a lip sync video.  Winners are selected either by members of HANSON and the 3CG team or by the Hanson.net community depending on the category.

The HANSON Day Lectures are one of the coolest ticketed events held during the HANSON Day weekend. Each of the three lectures is hosted by a different member of HANSON.  The HANSON Day lectures are a one of a kind experience not to be missed.

If you are a HANSON fan, you don’t want to miss HANSON Day.  Each year in May, HANSON hosts fans from all around the world in Tulsa, OK for a weekend long celebration of music, art and community.  Hear brand new songs performed for the first time, go inside the multi-tracks of classic HANSON albums and experience one of a kind pieces of art created exclusively for HANSON Day.

All you have to do to attend is have an active fan club membership and RSVP for the event in the Hanson.net calendar section.  We hope to see all of you in Tulsa this May.

The first step to attending Hanson Day is to RSVP. To RSVP, go to the Calendar section of Hanson.net. Look for the Tulsa, OK – HANSON DAY WEEKEND event. You’ll see an RSVP button – click it. That’s it. You’ve RSVPed. Once you RSVP, you can proceed to the store to purchase tickets for any of the special events you would like to attend.
