Hanson reveal plans for tour, new album

Hanson has revealed plans for a global tour in support of their forthcoming album, Anthem. The pop-rock trio will kick off the United States leg of the tour in Massachusetts with a performance at Boston’s House of Blues on Saturday, August 31. Tickets for the show are available through Live Nation for $27.50.

Anthem, the band’s ninth studio effort and follow-up to 2010′s Shout It Out, is scheduled for release on June 18. Produced and written by the band, it was mixed by Tom Lord-Alge. Fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “Get The Girl Back”. In a recent blog post on the band’s website, Zac Hanson revealed the album will feature songs with each of the three brothers on lead vocals. The video for the song, which stars Kat Dennings (Two Broke Girls) and Nikki Reed (Twilight/Thirteen), is streaming below.
