Ahead of their now nearly completely sold out Australian tour HANSON have announced that they will be joined by US singer songwriter Matt Wertz as special guest at each of their Australian shows.
Wertz, a Missouri native renowned for his elegantly crafted songs and heart on sleeve honesty is sure to win over a legion Australian fans as he presents songs from his latest album Weights & Wings. Of the new album which is his fourth Wertz explains, “I got the title from a daily meditation book that I read. It’s the idea that the heavy things in life and the transcendent times are both equally important in propelling us on and through life.”
HANSON’s upcoming Australian tour has only two shows remaining on sale, the first is at the HiFi in Brisbane on the 11th of September and the final remaining date onsale is the 16th of September at the Enmore in Sydney. Both shows are selling fast and represent the last chances on this tour to see what New York‘s Village Voice is calling the “Finest Straight-Up Rock Band In America.”
