From The Band…

We are almost to the end of 2011, and this week things start to shut down in HANSON world. The 3cg office starts to quiet down, and the store will not be shipping anything from now until the new year. We were able to achieve so many of the things we hoped for when 2011 began. The Musical Ride Tour went off perfectly (besides a nasty cold that canceled a few shows), and we discovered that This Time Around is the album to beat in a vote-off. We toured throughout Latin America and Europe, releasing Shout it Out along side those tours, and even though there are always more places to go and people to see, we saw more old and new fans in 2011 than we could have hoped for. We are ending this year in a wonderful place to step things up in 2012. Next year marks the twenty year anniversary of HANSON, and with that we are planning a year long celebration that fans all around the world can take part in together. Some of our plans you may already know. In January, we will be touring throughout Cana da. We will be in the Philippines in March, and we will be launching a Hanson beer called MMMHops. How it all connects together is still a mystery. What I can say is that we plan to make 2012 a year full of brand new HANSON music, memorable concert events, and plenty of HANSON history. Look for a few big announcements in late January, and all of you members should make plans to travel in early May 2012. The HANSON calendar year starts in May.

Thank you to all of the members who continue to be a part of our amazing community of music fans. Thank you to the wonderful Street Team members and leaders who are tireless in their efforts to spread the word. Thank you to all of the countless fans who have purchased albums and concert tickets! You make it all possible. We are looking forward to what 2012 has in store. Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Isaac, Taylor, and Zac

p.s. Keep an eye out for the “My Favorite Christmas Sweater” music video. We should have it finished before the big red man climbs onto his sleigh!
