DIGITAL ALBUM RELEASE
Signaling a triumphant return to many international markets after a gap in active international touring, Grammy nominated international pop-rock trio HANSON today announced the coming digital release of their acclaimed fifth studio album Shout It Out in Europe and Latin America. The band, who have sold over 16 million albums, are releasing the digital-only album on their own 3CG Records in conjunction with their highly anticipated Shout It Out World Tour.
Set for release in Latin America and Mexico on Nov 7th and Europe on Nov 14th, Shout It Out will be available for fans just in time for the world tour which begins Nov 4th in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The album, which debuted at #2 on the US Billboard Independent charts has fueled the continued passion of fans around the world, lead by the infectious soul-inspired single Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’ and the smash follow-up Give A Little.
The Shout It Out World Tour, which will feature the band in their classic three-piece configuration, makes it’s way through Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, and the UK, and has received an ecstatic response from the band’s fanbase since it was announced earlier this fall.
“One of our biggest goals for 2011 was to bring the Shout It Out Tour and album release to our international fans. We are thrilled that both are finally happening.”, says keyboardist and singer Taylor Hanson. Adds guitarist and singer Isaac “We have had an amazing 14 years of making music and playing concerts. We’re excited to play these concerts in our classic three-piece arrangement and make these shows totally special for us and for the amazing fans who have continued to show passion and dedication for all these years”.
HANSON has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, sold over 16 million albums and has been releasing records independently since 2003 to critical and fan acclaim alike. Over more than 14 years since their debut major release, the band has earned praise for their songwriting, musicianship and dynamic live performances, with New York’s Village Voice calling them the “Finest Straigt Up Rock Band In America”.
Shout It Out is the band’s fifth studio album, and is infused with their soul inspired influences. The album highlights music legends, guest bass player Bob Babbit of Motown fame, and horn arranger Jerry Hey, best known for his work with Michael Jackson and Earth Wind and Fire.
HNET Members Only Event in Germany
During the Shout It Out World Tour, HANSON will host a FREE fan club members only event in Germany. The event will be held as a part of a concert. At the event, Hanson.net members will enter the venue early for the MOE and, after it is over, doors will be open to the public.

From The Band…
Shout It Out World Tour, Heads South –
We just finished our first show of the Shout It Out World Tour. It is great to start in Brazil where we have always blown away by the amazing fans and have only had great experiences in the past. Our first show here in Porto Alegre lived up to that great history, with amazing energy from the crowd, and a great time on stage. We were also really excited to be able to do our first international MOE, where we featured performances of the members only EP Facing The Blank Page (thank you to everyone who joined us in the fanclub for the event).
For some time we have talked about our hope to do special events outside of the US for H.net and today we were able to live up to that promise, no doubt the next event for European fans set to happen soon in Germany will be great as well (don’t forget to RSVP if you want to join us). As we kick of the international tour I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the many people who have stayed passionate during a long break in shows, and as well for the many (YOU) who helped make The Musical Ride Tour, great as well. Today was a great start to this tour, and we can’t wait for what comes next. I thought I would share a few snapshots from our first couple days in Brazil so far. A few traveling picks and some shots of us saying hello to the crowd after tonight’s show. For the Latin fans, we will see many of you soon in Sao Paulo. See you soon.
