POP-ROCK TRIO HANSON ANNOUNCE DIGITAL RELEASE OF ACCLAIMED NEW ALBUM SHOUT IT OUT IN LATIN AMERICA AND EUROPE, DURING SHOUT IT OUT WORLD TOUR
Signaling a triumphant return to many international markets after a gap in active international touring, Grammy nominated international pop-rock trio HANSON today announced the coming digital release of their acclaimed fifth studio album Shout It Out in Europe and Latin America. The band, who have sold over 16 million albums, are releasing the digital-only album on their own 3CG Records in conjunction with their highly anticipated Shout It Out World Tour.
Set for release in Latin America and Mexico on Nov 7th and Europe on Nov 14th, Shout It Out will be available for fans just in time for the world tour which begins Nov 4th in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The album, which debuted at #2 on the US Billboard Independent charts has fueled the continued passion of fans around the world, lead by the infectious soul-inspired single Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’ and the smash follow-up Give A Little.
The Shout It Out World Tour, which will feature the band in their classic three-piece configuration, makes it’s way through Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, and the UK, and has received an ecstatic response from the band’s fanbase since it was announced earlier this fall.
“One of our biggest goals for 2011 was to bring the Shout It Out Tour and album release to our international fans. HANSON has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, sold over 16 million albums and has been releasing records independently since 2003 to critical and fan acclaim alike. Over more than 14 years since their debut major release, the band has earned praise for their songwriting, musicianship and dynamic live performances, with New York’s Village Voice calling them the “Finest Straigt Up Rock Band In America”.
Shout It Out is the band’s fifth studio album, and is infused with their soul inspired influences. The album highlights music legends, guest bass player Bob Babbit of Motown fame, and horn arranger Jerry Hey, best known for his work with Michael Jackson and Earth Wind and Fire.
